Qualp: A Comprehensive Travel Cost Calculator
Qualp is a free iPhone app developed by Malinski informatica Ltda - EPP that allows users to calculate the costs of their trips, including tolls and fuel expenses. It also provides information on distance and estimated travel time.
With Qualp, users can anticipate and divide costs among friends on a trip or provide advance values to employees traveling on behalf of a company. The app offers various functionalities, such as selecting the type of vehicle (including motorcycles) and the number of axles, inputting travel time and distance in kilometers, and specifying the number and location of toll booths along the way. It also shows the costs and locations of ferries, although not all ferries are currently registered in the app's database.
Additionally, Qualp allows users to view real-time traffic conditions, check gasoline prices at major gas stations in Brazil, calculate round trips, add up to 8 destinations or stopping points, and even modify the route by dragging the route line. The app also offers a 3D view of the route using Street View and the option to view the map in full screen.
To ensure accurate information, the app updates values and adds new toll booths daily. With its high precision, Qualp surpasses other similar apps in terms of accuracy, with calculations accurate within a few meters.
In the future, the app will introduce many more features, including social media sharing capabilities and other enhancements.
